We worked with Powell architects to conceptualize a car audio system specifically engineered for this space, and designed according to the “Granddad’s Garage” theme. It features hand-carpeted speaker boxes with painted bezels with antique chrome-plated grilles. Five vintage Big Beam flashlights were repurposed as wall sconces--modified with LED bulbs, dimmer switch, and a central power supply. We added a custom-designed mounting plate, featuring a USB port for customer phone charging.
